About Course
BA + B.Ed is an undergraduate dual-degree program which is of a total of 4 years duration. Through the course, the students are offered an in-depth knowledge for the different subjects which are included in Arts & Professional Studies including Hindi, English, Political Science, History as well as Education. The students who wish to pursue their career in the field of teaching can apply for the course which enables them to experiences the hands-on experience in the classroom teaching and communication skills. The main aim of this course is to prepare the students by providing theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of teaching methodologies and other pedagogies. The minimum eligibility to pursue the BA + B.Ed program is to pass 10+2 from a recognized school/board.

In order to pursue a dual degree in BA + B.Ed, the candidates will have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirements to fulfil by the students for admission to BA + B.Ed course are:

The admission in BA + B.Ed is through State Level entrance test called PTET and Counselling to test the eligibility of the student for admission.

The candidate must have opted the main subjects as Physics and Mathematics in the 12th exam with one of the optional subjects among Chemistry/ biology/ biotechnology.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the 12th or equivalent exam.

B.Sc + B.Ed is an undergraduate dual degree which is of a total of 4 years duration and provides an integrated course of Bachelor of Science and Bachelors of Education. The main aim of this course is to provide extensive knowledge in various Science subjects including Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Through the course, students are provided with theoretical knowledge in the field of science to empower them for problem-solving skills. The course provides an opportunity for the students to pursue Science along with Education in 4 years, which also helps them save one year of the degree. The students who want to pursue their career in the field of teaching science and other fields can apply for this course which includes knowledge of teaching expertise and pedagogies. Students can take admission in B.Sc + B.Ed dual degree course either through direct admission or an entrance examination, depending on the institute. The minimum eligibility to pursue a dual degree in BSc + B.Ed course is to pass 10+2 in Science stream from a recognised board.
